Do you really need a rental car?
Miyakojima is full of sightseeing spots that you can thoroughly enjoy, including beaches, sightseeing spots, and activities such as diving.

There are plenty of sightseeing spots and good shops that you can enjoy in your spare time, even though it's just a short distance away. However, the scale of the island is larger than I expected, and it is difficult to get there on foot or by bicycle, so is it worth renting a car?

That's where "trikes" come into play, which you can ride with a regular driver's license!

Why not enjoy Miyakojima to the fullest on a trike with a sense of freedom?

Q&A

Q1.

What is a trike?

A trike is a three-wheeled bike. You can enjoy the speed you feel while riding like a motorcycle and the exhilarating feeling of cutting through the wind. It also has a small turning radius, making it convenient for visiting sightseeing spots. To drive, you will need a "regular license" (an international license valid in Japan).

SEACOM's Tricity 125 and Steel -HAGANE- are not treated as two-wheeled vehicles according to the Cabinet Office notification that defines three-wheeled vehicles as designated by the Prime Minister, and are vehicles that require a "normal license" as a license classification. Also, the passenger capacity is 2 people.

Q2.

I only have a license for a large motorcycle, but can I still drive?

I'm sorry, but I can't.

Minicars are treated as "motorized bicycles" under the Road Transport Vehicle Law, but are classified as "ordinary cars" under the Road Traffic Act.In order to drive, you will need a driver's license for a normal car or higher.

Because it is a regular car, there is no obligation to turn right in two stages or wear a helmet, which is required for motorized bicycles, and the legal speed limit is "60km/h” is defined.

Q3.

Do I need a helmet?

Our Gyro X is legally treated the same as a car, so there is no obligation to wear a helmet.

We recommend wearing a helmet at our store. Please feel free to lend it to us for free.

Isn't driving difficult?

Q4.

Due to its unique operational feel, we ask that you take a lecture when renting for the first time.

If you can ride a moped scooter or a motorcycle, you can ride it without any problems, but we also have a four-wheel COMS rental service,

Please consider that as well.

*We reserve the right to refuse rental if we deem it dangerous.
